#1- I have an entire bedroom as my closet.
#2 - I am a really good cook and took a cooking class while vacationing in Italy.
#3 - I have been to Las Vegas over 10 times and even got married in Vegas.
Play along too!
With summer approaching, now is a perfect time to get to know each other! There are so many new bloggers on the scene and we want a way to get to know each other. Why not put a little spin on it?! Let's get to know each other by playing "Two Truths and a Lie!" In your blog post tell us three "facts" about yourself. Make two of them true and one a lie. In the comments section your readers will guess which ones are true and which ones are not. After three days, come back (in that same post or a brand new post, your choice) and tell us which one was the lie! We can't wait to play along with you and learn something new about our readers and fellow bloggers!
Here's how to join in on the fun:1. Grab the picture and banner above and use it to link back to this post on your blog.
2. Write a post about the topic of the week. This week is: Two Truths and a Lie: All about Me!
3. Add your link below.
4. Advertise your post using any social media of your choice.
***WHICH WAS THE LIE?***1. TRUE - In my past 2 houses, I've turned an entire bedroom into my closet. It's a bonus when you don't have kids :) We go a lot of this at IKEA, Home Goods, TJ Maxx, and Garden Ridge! Here's a peek in my closet.
2. LIE (partially)- My dad takes each one of my sisters on a vacation to Europe when we graduate college. My dad and I went to Italy and did actually take a cooking class. My dad LOVES to cook and is really good---me on the other hand...I hate cooking and am not good. We eat out a lot :) I can bake a few things well, but I'm best to not be in the kitchen.
3. TRUTH - My husband used to own a furniture store and one of the annual furniture markets is in Vegas. We went every year! I've also been for my 21st birthday, senior sorority trip in college, vacation with my husband, our wedding, TPT conference. I've probably been more than 10 times. Since Blake and I have been together since I was a freshman in high school (over 1/2 my life!) we just wanted to have a fun, relaxed wedding. Being married wasn't going to change much from dating for 11 years so I didn't need a big fancy wedding. I got online found pictures of invitations, a cake, food menu, location, etc. and had it all planned in about a day or 2. He proposed on Christmas Eve and we got married 2 months later on our anniversary, February 19th at the Paris Hotel. It was SO low-key (8 minute ceremony), dinner, then a piano bar! Our close family and friends attended and said it was one of the most fun weddings they've ever been to because it was really relaxed, fun, and just like a big vacation together. They liked that we got to spend a few days together celebrating than just 1 day with the bride being stressed. I would TOTALLY suggest it to anyone!!!
